Orboria
Orboria's rings of white light around a dark centre: today, this week, four weeks and twelve months.

The continuity
of your practice

Progress is a practice kept, day after day — yoga, meditation, a run. Orboria times it, keeps it, and draws your days, weeks and months as rings of light.

Coming to the App Store

For iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo. Five hours free.

The record

Each day you practise lights its place

Today's practices on the outer ring, this week inside it, then the last four weeks and the last twelve months. Not the longest session: the one you keep coming back to.

Set a daily or a weekly aim and the rings show what is still to do. Meet it and the ring shines. A small key explains every arc in words, and the history is a tap away.

The rings with their key: Today on the outer ring, then This week, 4 weeks and 12 months towards the centre.

The timer

A quiet timer, an honest record

Choose a practice and a length. One ring fills to the bell. Stayed longer? Add the minutes, or keep the length you set.

Pause and resume without losing your place, with the time on your lock screen while it runs.

A finished meditation of 20 minutes, with Done and Add +2:14 for the minutes after the bell.

Three ways in

Timed, open, or added after

Time a practice, leave it open and stop when you are done, or add one you did elsewhere after the fact. Turn the dial for the practice and the length; it remembers what you chose.

The dial open around the rings: Meditation, Timed, 20 min.

Your colours

White light, or your colours

Meditation, yoga, breathwork, Pilates, tai chi, stretching, running, climbing, walking, cycling, swimming, strength — or a practice of your own.

Keep the record white, or let each practice show in its own colour, with a cloud of light around the rings that breathes while you sit. Four styles: arcs only, space dust, atmosphere, aurora.

The rings in the Aurora style, green, blue and orange light around them, with three other styles below: Arcs only, Space dust, Atmosphere.

Beyond the app

On your home screen, and on your lock screen

Your rings as a widget, in two sizes. The running practice as a Live Activity, with the bell. And a “Log a practice” action for Shortcuts and Siri.

Why I made this

Timers and streaks have always left me in two minds. And I don't always have a watch on my wrist, or anything keeping count, when I practise.

So I made the app I was missing: one where a practice is added in a moment, even afterwards, with a timer that stays quietly out of the way — and that still gathers in what my watch and other apps have recorded. Every day I practise finds its place.

Bring in the workouts and mindful minutes your watch recorded, for the practices you choose. What you keep in Orboria is written back as a workout or as mindful minutes. Nothing is counted twice.

Private by design

Your practices stay in the app and in Apple Health, on your phone.

Nothing to sign up for, nothing to sign in to. Open it and begin.
