The short version: the app collects nothing. Your practices stay on your device, and in Apple Health or Health Connect if you let them. Nothing leaves your phone unless you choose to: your own device backup, if you have it switched on, or something you send us yourself. If you write to us, we keep your message to reply to you.

The app collects nothing

What you keep in Orboria — the practices you time or add, when and for how long, your practice names and colours, your aims and your settings — lives on your own device, in the app's private storage. There is no account, no server, no backend, no analytics and no advertising. We have no access to any of it, unless you send it to us yourself.

The widgets, the Live Activity and the Shortcuts action read and write the same record on your device. None of them send anything anywhere.

Apple Health and Health Connect

Orboria asks before it reads or writes anything in Apple Health (on iPhone and iPad) or Health Connect (on Android), and you choose what. With your permission it:

• reads workouts and mindful minutes for the practices you choose — their type, start, end and pauses — so that what your watch or another app recorded fills the rings. It reads no heart rate, calories, location or routes;
• writes what you keep in Orboria back, as a workout or as mindful minutes.

Health data is used only to show and keep your practice on your device. It is never used for advertising, never sold, never shared, and never leaves your device through Orboria. You can change or withdraw access at any time: on iPhone in the Health app › Profile › Apps › Orboria; on Android in Health Connect's settings.

Your device backup

The one way your record can leave your phone is your own device backup — iCloud Backup on iOS, Auto Backup on Android. If you have it switched on, Orboria is included in it, like your other apps. That backup runs under your own account and your own settings, and we are not part of it: we cannot access it and have no way to see what is in it. If you turn backup off in your device settings, nothing is copied anywhere.

We leave it on rather than opting the app out, because without an account or a server it is the only way your record survives a change of phone.

Purchases

The subscription is sold and handled by Apple through the App Store, or by Google through Google Play. Orboria learns only whether it is active; it never sees your name, your account or your payment details.

Contact data

If you contact us by email or phone, we keep the information you share with us. We use it solely to respond to you and, where relevant, to improve the app. We do not share it with third parties. We keep it for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry, after which it is deleted.

This website

The Orboria website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking of any kind, and loads nothing from elsewhere. No personal data is collected when you visit it. Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs for security and operation.

The app stores

Orboria is distributed through Apple's App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google may each process data in connection with the download and purchase. Please refer to Apple's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy for details.

Deleting your data

Deleting Orboria from your device deletes everything it kept. What it wrote to Apple Health or Health Connect stays there, where you can review and delete it: on iPhone in Health › Profile › Apps › Orboria › Delete All Data from “Orboria”.

Children

Orboria collects no personal data from anyone, children included.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at hello@orboria.app.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (GBA/APD) at dataprotectionauthority.be.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be announced on this website. The date at the top reflects the most recent update.

About Orboria

A timer and a record, not advice

Orboria times your practice and keeps a record of it: meditation, yoga, running or whatever you practise. It is not medical, health, fitness or therapeutic advice, and it does not replace a doctor, a therapist or a teacher. Aims, rings and suggestions in the app describe your own record; they are not recommendations to practise more, longer or harder.

If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or are unsure whether a practice is right for you, ask a qualified professional before you begin.

Use at your own risk

You use Orboria, and you practise, at your own risk. Toyfoo BV cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss or other consequence arising from a practice you time, keep or plan with the app.

The subscription

The first five hours of practice are free. After that, Orboria asks for a yearly subscription, bought and renewed through the App Store or Google Play under their terms, until you cancel it there. Prices are shown in the app and the store before you buy. Payments, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple or Google.

Feedback and ideas

Any feedback, suggestions or ideas you share with us, through any channel, may be used by Toyfoo BV to improve the product. You retain no rights over them, and we are under no obligation to compensate or credit you.

Intellectual property

All content, design, code and imagery in the app and on this website are the property of Toyfoo BV. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from them without our written permission.

The app stores

If you obtained Orboria from the App Store, Apple's standard end-user licence agreement also applies to your use of it. If you obtained it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply. In any conflict between these terms and those of the store you downloaded from, that store's terms take precedence with regard to the distribution and use of the app through it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Toyfoo BV's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. The date at the top reflects the most recent update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Antwerp, Belgium.
